David is responsible for the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of the Travel and Medical business globally. David has extensive experience in senior leadership positions in the travel and assistance industries both in Australia and New Zealand. David joined First Assistance in 2013 and is a member of the Executive Team.
Dr Graham Denyer
Graham provides medical leadership to a team that faces an endless variety of medical and logistic challenges for customers across the globe. His clinical background is emergency medicine and at First Assistance he combines those skills with his broad experience in rural and remote medicine, aviation medicine and in the provision of medical care within multidisciplinary operational environments. Graham was previously a medical officer with the Australian Antarctic program and joined First Assistance in 2012.
Fran is responsible for leading First Assistance’s team of medical assistance and repatriation nurses across Australasia. She has extensive nursing experience in acute hospital, medical assistance and repatriation settings both in New Zealand and Europe. Fran joined First Assistance in 2014.
Linda Cobb – Martin
Lynda has extensive nursing experience in occupational medicine, travel and tropical medicine, aviation medicine, insurance and medical assistance. Having joined First Assistance in 2011 Lynda has previous experience in several market sectors including emergency services, mining, and corporate OHS.
Dr Claude Preitner
A Swiss native, Claude spent 16 years in his own general practice prior to specialising in aviation medicine. He holds a commercial pilot’s licence and has held the position of Senior Medical Officer for the New Zealand Civil Aviation Authority since 2002. Claude has been a medical consultant to First Assistance since 2011.
Dr Tony Svensen
Tony is a partner in a thriving full time general practice in Auckland, New Zealand. In addition to his broad generalist medical background he has extensive experience in aviation medicine and the medical assistance industry and has been a medical consultant to First Assistance for the past 14 years.
Dr Paul Scott
Dr Scott is based in Hobart, Australia and his background is in Emergency Medicine. He's had extensive experience as a paramedic, Antarctic Field Guide and Wilderness Medicine Educator.
Dr Bill O’Reagan
Dr O’Regan is a specialist Intensivist and Anaesthetist from New South Wales, Australia where he is the Deputy Director of the Intensive Care Unit at Liverpool Hospital in Western Sydney. He is an active member of the Australian Army Reserve and has deployed extensively to remote environments including Timor, Bougainville, Indonesia, Afghanistan and Iraq. He has extensive aeromedical experience and has an ongoing role as a Medical Consultant for Careflight International.
